Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Visit the registration page and sign up with your email or Google account. Choose whether you're a property owner looking for services or a service provider looking for work.
What's the difference between an Owner and a Provider account?
Owners post jobs and hire service providers for their properties. Providers (cleaners, handymen, landscapers, caregivers) accept jobs and earn money. You can use one account across all Adaptensor platforms.
How do I set up my profile?
After registration, go to Settings to complete your profile. Providers should add a photo, bio, hourly rate, service areas, specialties, and upload insurance/ID documents. Owners should add their properties and payment method.
Finding & Booking
How do I find a service provider?
Use the "Find Providers" page to search by service type, location, availability, and ratings. You can filter by specialty, insurance status, and proximity. Use "Available Now" for urgent same-day needs.
What is an RFQ?
An RFQ (Request for Quote) lets you send a job request to specific providers. They can accept, decline, or counter with a different price. If a provider has "Available Now" enabled, they have 20 minutes to respond before the RFQ auto-cancels.
How do I create a job?
Go to your dashboard, select a property, and click "New Job." Set the service type, date/time, provider, and any special instructions. Payment is collected via escrow when the job is created.
Payments
How does escrow payment work?
When you book a job, your payment is held securely in escrow via Stripe. The provider completes the work, uploads before/after photos, and marks it complete. Once you approve the job, payment is released to the provider.
What fees do providers pay?
Providers keep 100% of their job earnings. There are no commission fees. After a free trial of 20 jobs, providers pay a flat monthly subscription of $2.99/month to continue using the platform.
What fees do owners pay?
Owners pay a 2.5% convenience fee on top of the job price. Property subscriptions start at $2.99/month per property with volume discounts for multiple properties.
What happens if a job is cancelled?
If a job is cancelled before it starts, the full payment is refunded from escrow. If cancelled mid-job, the refund depends on the circumstances and may be handled by our support team.
Trust & Verification
How does provider verification work?
Providers can submit a government-issued ID and a live selfie for identity verification. Our system uses AI-powered face matching to confirm identity. Verified providers earn a trust badge visible to all owners.
Is insurance required?
Insurance is not required to join, but insured providers earn a purple "Insured" badge that builds trust with owners. Upload your insurance documents in Settings and an admin will verify them.
Why are before/after photos required?
Before/after photos with GPS coordinates and timestamps protect both providers and owners. They document the work completed and serve as evidence in case of any disputes.
How does the rating system work?
After each completed job, owners can rate the provider on a 5-star scale and leave a written review. Providers can also rate owners. Ratings are visible on profiles and factor into search rankings.
Calendar & Scheduling
How does iCal calendar sync work?
Property owners can connect their Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com calendars via iCal URL. AdaptClean syncs every 30 minutes and can automatically create turnover cleaning jobs when guests check out.
Can I set up recurring jobs?
Yes. When creating a job, you can set it to repeat weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. The same provider will be assigned to recurring jobs for consistency.
Account
How do I update my profile?
Go to Settings from your dashboard. You can update your profile photo, bio, hourly rate, service areas, specialties, and more from the various tabs.
How do I manage notifications?
In Settings, go to the Notifications tab. You can toggle email and push notifications for job updates, messages, RFQs, and marketing communications.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account and click "Delete Account." Your personal data will be removed within 30 days per our privacy policy. Active jobs must be completed or cancelled first.
